Green Tree Python (Morelia viridis) (Biak)
Captive bred and hatched August 2008
This locality originates off the northern coast of West Papua on the island Biak. Biaks are one of the largest of the Green Tree Python family and are well known for their beauty and variable coloration. Juveniles and sub-adults often exhibit beautiful color variations during their ontogenic phase which can last beyond 3 years!
This trio is over 9 months of age now and as you can see, are going to be SMOKERS! Biaks have long been known to be a key component of a breeder's program whose goal is to hatch crazy-looking chondros. If this is you, or you just want a really beautiful display animal, any one of these would be a fine choice. Hammering thawed adult mice.
As always when dealing with Frantz Herpetological you can expect a smooth and effortless transaction. Rest assured we will stand behind our animals, guarantee their health, lineage, AND that they feed.
Boom!!
(#BIAKGTPFH0808_B2) -Cover your eyes! Gorgeous!

(#BIAKGTPFH0808_C3) -Again, bright with VERY heavy patterning (heavy patterning is what you want for an interesting Biak)!
